Gracefully Diverse In Home Care was founded by Jennifer Dickey, a devoted caregiver, community advocate, and proud Sumter resident who believes every person deserves to age with dignity, safety, and genuine compassion.

The photo above is especially meaningful—Jennifer stands beside her mother, one of the greatest inspirations behind her commitment to caregiving. Watching her mother navigate aging with strength, grace, and resilience is helping Jennifer understand firsthand the importance of dependable support, trustworthy care, and family-centered guidance. These experiencescontinue to shape her mission to create an agency where clients are treated with the same love and respect she gives her own family.

Before establishing Gracefully Diverse In Home Care, Jennifer worked for several years as a Personal Care Aide and Administrator, serving seniors, individuals with disabilities, and veterans across South Carolina. Her background in sociology and healthcare, combined with her personal caregiving journey, led her to build an agency grounded in empathy, cultural awareness, and excellence.

Today, Jennifer leads GDHC with intention and a hands-on approach. She personally meets with families, oversees care plans, and ensures every client receives thoughtful, individualized support. Whether a family is seeking private-pay services or guidance through the Medicaid Community Long Term Care (CLTC) program, Jennifer’s promise remains the same—to provide compassionate, high-quality care that truly makes a difference.
